This exhibition marks an inaugural collaboration between some of the UAE cultural landscape’s most prominent voices. Emirati artists Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim and Afra Al Daheri’s works are exhibited for the first time, with the curatorial voice of independent curator Munira Al Sayegh drawing common threads between their seemingly disparate bodies of work. Functioning as a celebration of the continuous growth of the UAE’s arts and culture scene, this exhibition is the first public project of Dirwaza Lab, an Abu Dhabi-based creative incubator and projects partner founded by Munira Al Sayegh.
